Terms of service
Last updated October 22, 2026
Create Close Own (“the service”) is a hosted app for service businesses: a lead pipeline, quotes and invoices, follow-up messages, review requests and the Alter Ego. It is made and run by Fast Track Movers Inc., an Alberta company (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using an instance of the service you agree to these terms on behalf of the business you represent (“you”, “the customer”).
1. Your instance and your accounts
Each customer gets their own instance of the service with its own database, address (yourname.createcloseown.io) and login. The owner account controls the instance: it can invite and remove closers, change settings, export data and cancel. You are responsible for keeping your passwords and your closers' access to yourself, and for everything done through your accounts. Tell us at once if you think an account has been compromised.
2. Subscription, trial and billing
- The service is sold as a monthly subscription, billed in Canadian dollars through Stripe. Applicable GST or HST is added.
- New instances start with a 14-day free trial. Nothing is charged until the trial ends; cancel before then and you owe nothing.
- Founders pricing, where offered, is locked for as long as the subscription stays active without interruption.
- You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not refund partial months.
- If a payment fails, we keep the instance running for 7 days and then pause it. Your data is kept (see section 5) and the instance resumes as soon as a payment goes through.
- We may change prices with 30 days' notice by email. A price change never applies to a locked founders rate.
3. Your data
Everything you put into your instance (leads, clients, documents, settings, messages) is yours. We process it only to run the service for you, to support you when you ask, and as described in our privacy policy. You can export your documents as PDF and your ledger as CSV at any time from inside the app. We never sell your data and never use your clients' details to market to them.
4. Messages you send through the service
The service sends emails and, if you connect a Twilio number, text messages to your leads and clients on your behalf. You are the sender. You are responsible for having the consent the law requires to message each person (in Canada, CASL and PIPEDA; elsewhere, the equivalent rules), for honouring opt-outs, and for the content of your messages. Every email we send for you carries an unsubscribe link and every text honours STOP; do not remove or work around them. Your Twilio account, its number, and Twilio's charges and registration requirements are between you and Twilio.
5. Keeping, exporting and deleting data
- While your subscription is active, your data stays in your instance. Daily backups are kept by our hosting provider for disaster recovery.
- If your subscription ends, we keep your instance and its data for 90 days so you can export it or come back. After 90 days the instance and its backups are deleted.
- You can ask us to delete your instance sooner at any time by emailing us from the owner's address.
6. Acceptable use
Use the service for your own business. Do not use it to send spam or messages the recipient has not agreed to, to store content you have no right to, to attack or overload the service, or to do anything unlawful. We may suspend an instance that is doing any of these, after telling you, unless the harm is immediate.
7. Availability and support
We aim to keep the service running around the clock and to fix problems quickly, but we do not promise a specific uptime. Planned maintenance is done outside normal working hours where we can. Support is by email at hello@createcloseown.io; we answer on business days. The Alter Ego is a tool for keeping a sales pipeline moving and is deliberately blunt; what it says is generated from your board and your settings and is not advice.
8. What we are not responsible for
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data beyond what section 5 promises, or indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Ending the agreement
You can end it by cancelling. We can end it by giving you 30 days' notice, or at once if you break section 6 or do not pay. Sections 3, 5 and 8 survive.
10. Changes and the law
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email to the owner at least 14 days before they take effect; continuing to use the service after that is acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and of Canada, and the courts of Alberta have jurisdiction.
